High-Energy Infrared Femtosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator Synchronously Pumped by a Thin-Disk Laser

Abstract

An optical parametric oscillator has been constructed to test energy scalability using a 1.0-ps, thin-disk–based pump producing 455-fs pulses at 7.08 MHz tunable from 1.99 to 2.20 µm with energies up to 345 nJ.
