Dual-wavelength CW lasers around 2.8 μm were demonstrated in both 4at.% and 10at.%Er:SrF2 single crystals. 4at.%Er:SrF2 had better laser performance, with an maximum output power of 0.470 W and a slope efficiency of 16.8%.
