100-W few-cycle Yb-fiber laser source based on pre-chirp managed amplification employing circular polarization

Abstract

We demonstrate that seeding pre-chirp managed amplification by circularly polarized seeding pulses can increase the amplified pulse energies. Using this method, we generate 100-W, 26-fs pulses at 23.7-MHz repetition rate.
