High Harmonic Generation from GaSe Excited by Mid-Infrared Pulses Produced from a Dual-Wavelength OPA

Abstract

Intense mid-infrared pulses from a dual-wavelength optical parametric amplifier are used to investigate polarization rotation of high harmonics generated from gallium selenide. Simulations reveal the polarization rotation originated in the gradient of an energy band.
