Opto-Optical Modulation for Carrier-Envelope-Offset Stabilization in a GHz Diode-Pumped Solid-State Laser

Abstract

We present the first carrier-envelope-offset stabilization in a 1-µm GHz diode-pumped solid-state laser using opto-optical modulation of a SESAM as fast actuator. A high bandwidth of ~580 kHz is demonstrated and a detailed characterization is reported.
