Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a femtosecond pulse fiber laser incorporating a CoSb3 skutterudite-based passive mode-locker. Using the mode-locker, stable soliton pulses with a ~833- fs temporal width is shown to be obtainable from an erbium fiber cavity.
