Brillouin Comb Generation in a Half-open Fiber Laser with a Tellurite Single-Mode Fiber

Abstract

A linear half-open erbium fiber laser is demonstrated for frequency combs generation. Cascaded Brillouin Stokes and anti-Stokes lines are generated and evolve into broadband frequency combs with the frequency spacing of 7.93GHz.
