Energy Transfer in Fe:Cr:ZnSe mid-IR laser materials

The room-temperature kinetics of Fe:Cr:ZnSe under 1560nm excitation shows that the energy transfer among Fe-Cr centers is as fast as 290ns and is promising as pump mechanism for Fe lasing.
