Tunable Brillouin microlaser based on a hybrid microbottle resonator

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a tunable Brillouin laser by using an ultrahigh-quality-factor hybrid microbottle resonator. A Brillouin lasing wavelength tuning range of 2.68 nm is realized.
