Yb:CALGO waveguide laser written with 1 MHz-repetition rate fs-laser

Abstract

We report on the first MHz-fs-laser inscribed waveguide lasers in Yb:CALGO. Slope efficiencies of 67% at 3.9 W of output power were realized under 7 W pumping from a semiconductor disk laser.
