Abstract

Transient stimulated Raman amplification of the IR supercontinuum seed in KGW crystals was studied with 1.2 ps pump pulses. Achieved 54 nm spectral bandwidth of amplified pulses, 45% conversion efficiency and compression to <160 fs.
