Laser Self-Injection Locking to Nonlinear Microresonator with Thermal Effects

Abstract

We study the impact of the microresonator nonlinearity on the laser self-injection locking. The theoretical model, including thermal effects, is developed. Nonlinear shift of the locking band is demonstrated. Self-injection locking is proved keep the working point inside the soliton existence region.
