Spectral Properties of Incoherent Optical Waves Propagating in the Fiber with Normal Dispersion

Abstract

We numerically and experimentally investigated the propagation of incoherent optical waves in the normal dispersion fiber, and revealed that the unique spectral evolutions were due to the dynamic interplays between dispersion and Kerr nonlinearities.
