High-Resolution Mapping of Phase Matching in Nonlinear Crystals

Abstract

The phase-matching conditions for second-harmonic generation are precisely mapped in nonlinear crystals by spatial scanning of a stabilized probe beam for application to large-aperture crystals used in frequency conversion and parametric amplification.
