Influence of saturable absorber recovery time on dissipative soliton generation

Abstract

We numerically investigated the effect of the saturable absorber (SA) recovery time for dissipative soliton generation in an ytterbium-doped fiber laser. It shown that the change in the SA recovery time influences significantly on the output pulse characteristics.
