Abstract

We make absolute measurements of the second-order nonlinear-optical coefficients of LaBGeO₅ at the fundamental wavelength of 532 nm using the wedge technique. The obtained values, d₁₁ = 0.55, d₂₂ = 1.41, d₃₃ = 1.15, d₃₁ = d₃₂ = 0.75 pm/V, are inconsistent with previous measurements at 1064 nm.
