Efficient Femtosecond Optical Parametric Generation in Group-Velocity-Matched MgO:PPLN at 10 MHz

Abstract

We report single-pass optical parametric generation of femtosecond pulses in the near- and mid-infrared with 58% average power conversion efficiency at 10 MHz repetition rate by exploiting group-velocity-matched interaction in a 42-mm-long MgO:PPLN crystal.
