Watt-level Erbium-Doped Dual-Wavelength Pumped All-Fiber Laser at 3.8 µm

Abstract

A dual-wavelength pumped Er3+:ZrF4 all-fiber laser generating a maximum output power of 1.2 W at 3.8 µm is reported. Experimental results supported by a numerical modeling based on the population dynamics are presented.
