Multijoule Yellow Light Pulse Burst Generation by KGW Raman Laser

Abstract

Yellow light pulse bursts at 589 nm with duration 10 ms and energy 4.5 J at 1 Hz were generated by KGW Raman laser under pumping by Nd: YAG laser with maximum burst energy 10 J at 532 nm. Raman laser energy significantly exceeds the level, obtained in previously published papers and is limited only by maximum energy of pump laser.
