Optical Properties of a Wedged Thin-Disk Amplifier

Abstract

Our wedged thin-disk laser introduces in-place multi-pass amplification with a simplified optical setup. This coincides with additional aberrations which are introduced by the asymmetric wedge geometry. We characterize our system aberrations in an amplifier configuration.
