Abstract

We present a hybrid QCL/Fe:ZnSe amplifier for power scaling of a widely tunable, narrow-linewidth laser source at 3.8–4.1 μm. Additionally, single-frequency laser amplification with more than 210-mW output power using Fe:ZnSe is demonstrated.
