Mid-infrared Er:YAP vortex laser

Abstract

We demonstrate the direct generation of vortex beam in a mid-infrared Er:YAP laser with the annular pumping scheme. The operation wavelength can be switched from 2795 nm to 2921 nm by adjusting the pump power.
