Coherent Combining 64 Femtosecond Pulses Into mJ By Delay Line Stacking of a Fiber Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate the coherent stacking of 64 femtosecond pulses from a chirp-pulse amplification laser system based on an ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier. It combines into 1.2 mJ pulse energy at 5 kHz repetition rate.
