Kerr-lens Mode-locked Tm3+-doped Mixed Sesquioxide Single Crystal Laser at 2.1 µm

Abstract

We report on a Kerr-lens mode-locked Tm3+:YScO3 mixed sesquioxide crystal laser. Pulses as short as 49 fs corresponding to 7 optical cycles were achieved with an average output power of 126 mW at 2128 nm.
