Development of an ultra-narrowband 130 ps erbium-doped fiber laser oscillator

Abstract

We report a 32.96 MHz, 130 ps erbium-doped fiber laser oscillator with a spectral bandwidth of 0.22 cm–1 at 1559.6 nm. It could provide a new route in high-power laser development and high-resolution spectroscopy.
