Looking for Nd-doped crystals operating at short wavelengths on the 4F3/24I9/2 transition laser

Abstract

The study of neodymium ions emission following the channel 4F3/24I9/2 leads us to find very short potential laser wavelengths. Neodymium doped BaMoO4 show wavelength even lower than 900 nm.
