Abstract

Squeezed vacuum generation at 1064 nm in a PPKTP-based optical parametric oscillator is demonstrated for sensitivity improvements in gravitational wave detectors. Broadband squeezing of >2.5dB is reported in the 1-100 KHz frequency range.
