Thermal conductivities of polycrystalline Nd3+- and Yb3+- doped Y3Al5O12 ceramics

Abstract

We have evaluated thermal conductivities (κ) in polycrystalline Nd3+- and Yb3+-doped YAG ceramics. The differences of κ of YAG between two types of ceramics and single crystals that have various RE3+-concentrations were also discussed.
