Single-Frequency-Mode Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser Controlled by Volume Bragg Gratings

Abstract

This paper reports on a new type of Q-switched solid state lasers with resonators formed by volume Bragg gratings. This novel design results in a single frequency operation and dramatically simplifies laser optical scheme.
