Highly transparent stoichiometric LiNbO3 with MgO doping

Abstract

Highly transparent MgO-doped LiNbO3 crystal is investigated for high power visible light generation. By controlling crystal growth conditions, its absorption especially at UV to green region is remarkably reduced and consequently less GRIILA is observed.
