Micro-pulling down Nd:YAG single crystal fibers for high power linearly polarized CW and Q-Switched lasers

Abstract

We achieved 16-W polarized and 20-W unpolarized cw power at 1064 nm for 120-W of pump power and 360 kW peak power in the Q-Switched regime with Nd:YAG single-crystal fibers grown by micro-pulling-down technique.
