Abstract

We detail the comparison between two composite Nd3+:YVO4 crystals, realised with two different sticking techniques. We’ll see their behaviour inside a fibre coupled diode end pumped laser in term of output laser power, and beam quality. The conclusion of our first tests is that continuous growth composite crystals could represent a very good alternative face to one.
