Chirped-pulse and solitary mode-locked Yb:KLuW thin-disk laser oscillator

Abstract

We present a mode-locked Yb:KLu(WO4)2 thin-disk laser oscillator delivering 25 W of average output power. The laser performance of chirped-pulse operation in the positive dispersion regime is compared with solitary operation.
