High power spectral beam combining of four 2ns-pulsed fiber-amplifiers

Abstract

Four 2ns-pulsed fiber amplifier systems are spectrally combined on a dielectric reflection grating to a total output power of 187W at 50kHz repetition rate resulting in >3.7mJ of pulse energy and 1.7MW pulse peak power.
