Simultaneous Repetition Rate Multiplication and Amplification of a Femtosecond Laser by Injection Locking

Abstract

An 870 MHz laser cavity is injection-locked by a 174 MHz femtosecond laser. We study effects of pump power and output coupling on the output power, optical spectrum and microwave spectrum of the slave laser.
