Abstract

12.0-W CW 912 nm laser is obtained in LD-pumped Nd:GdVO4 at room temperature, with optical-to-optical efficiency of 22.5% and slope efficiency of 27.8%. Using 808 nm π-polarized pump source, the efficiency is increased evidently.
