Ultra-compact CPA-system with intrinsic phase-compensation

Abstract

A concept for ultra-compact nonlinear CPA systems employing a chirped volume Bragg grating as stretcher and compressor is presented. The method is based on compensation of accumulated nonlinear phase with phases due to the dispersive elements of the amplifier chain.
