High average power 5 GW peak power fiber laser pumped few-cycle OPCPA system

We report on a fiber pumped high power few cycle OPCPA system delivering 8 fs pulses at 96 kHz repetition rate. The amplified pulse energy is as high as 70 µJ which corresponds to 6.7 W average power and the pulse peak power is as high as 5 GW. Additionally, the seed oscillator is CEP stabilized and the CEP stability of the amplified pulses is measured. Furthermore, high harmonic generation up to the 35th order (20.9 nm) in demonstrated in a Krypton gas jet.
