Abstract

The unique properties of a 10µm endlessly-single-mode LMA PCF allowed for the efficient conversion of a 8W @ 1MHz fiber amplified 200ps, 1064nm microchip laser to 3W @ 673nm and 450mW @ 2.539µm by degenerated FWM. Scaling potential as well as tuneability options are supported by numerical simulations and will be discussed in detail.
