Monolithic Polarization Maintaining Thulium Fiber Laser using High and Low Reflectivity FBGs

Abstract

A monolithic thulium laser consisting of polarization maintaining single-mode fiber and integrated high and low reflectivity fiber Bragg gratings is demonstrated with an output power of 16 W at a wavelength of 2054 nm.
