Abstract

A continuous-wave signal-resonant optical parametric oscillator (SRO) is frequency stabilized at the kilohertz jitter level to the transmission peak of an external high finesse Fabry-Perot cavity, allowing a widely tunable mode-hop-free operation over 500 GHz.
