Abstract
We experimentally demonstrated an all-fiber optical isolator at 1064nm with 0.5dB insertion loss and 14dB isolation operating at input power of 8W. This result shows that magnetic quasi-phase matching technique is highly feasible for implementing an all-fiber isolator to operate at the multi-watt level. The isolator is also temperature controlled and tuned for isolation at different wavelengths, as illustrated using a broadband source.
