Power-scaling of femtosecond thin disk lasers

Abstract

Ultrafast thin disk lasers generate higher average powers (>140 W) and pulse energies (>25 µJ) than any other ultrafast oscillator technology. In this presentation, we discuss the current state-of-the-art and their potential for further power-scaling.
