Inband-pumped Er3+:LiLuF4 Laser Emitting in the 1.6 µm Spectral Range

Abstract

We present resonantly inband-pumped laser operation at 1.62 µm of an Er3+:LiLuF4 crystal, pumped by a fiber laser emitting at 1536 nm with a maximum power of 1.24 W and a slope efficiency of 19%.
