Tunable Fiber Gratings and their Applications

Abstract

Fiber gratings can be made adjustable by either tuning the wavelength and dispersion. Optical devices whereby both parameters can be controlled have application as optical network components and fiber sensors. This presentation will describe the methods of fiber grating adjustment and the applications of such devices.
