800 GHz continuously tunable fiber DFB laser for high speed high accuracy spectral characterization

Abstract

We present a strain tuned fiber DFB laser which is referenced to a phase-shifted FBG and an interferometer for high relative frequency accuracy (~30 kHz). A method for obtaining an accurate absolute (~6 MHz) accuracy is proposed.
