Conversion Mechanism Between Oxygen Deficient Centers in Silica Glass

Abstract

We report here the conversion mechanism between oxygen deficient centers in silica glasses, carrying out ab initio computations. We show that it exists a reaction path connecting neutral oxygen vacancies and twofold coordinated Si.
