An interferometric Maker fringe experiment to reconstruct the χ(2) profile of poled silica plates

Abstract

An experimental setup is proposed to obtain the phase of the second-harmonic generated signal when performing Maker fringe measurements. This phase information is useful for the reconstruction of χ(2)(z) profiles.
