Thulium-Doped Distributed-Feedback Fiber Laser with > 0.3 W Output at 1935 nm

Abstract

An in-band pumped thulium-doped distributed-feedback fiber laser is reported. The laser produced 318 mW of output power at 1935 nm with a slope efficiency of 21% with respect to absorbed pump power.
