Multi-Wavelength Interrogation (MWI) of thermally poled twin-hole silica optical fibres

Abstract

The linear electro-optic co-efficient of a thermally poled twin-hole silica fibre is characterised over a broad wavelength range using a novel all fibre multi wavelength interferometer. By changing the wavelength we effectively change the spatial resolution of the optical probe.
